Pamela Anderson and Kid Rock exchanged vows on a yacht in St Tropez on Saturday, surrounded by celebrity friends. Reporting on the event to People magazine, Jimmy Choo's Tamara Mellon said: "She was the most beautiful bride I've ever seen – like a modern-day Brigitte Bardot." (We're not entirely sure Bardot would have chosen a white string bikini in which to say "I do", but we'll let that rest.) "Kid Rock was a total rock star. He gave her a good kiss. Everybody was crying." Meanwhile, David Furnish described the event as "a real rock n' roll wedding". Don't expect this to be the final wedding report for the happy couple: Pammy said last week she was planning on at least four ceremonies to mark the occasion.

Beyonce Knowles has admitted she was forced to take kissing lessons before her first big on-screen smooch, because she wasn't quite sure how to snog for the cameras. Despite having appeared in a number of movies already, the forthcoming Dreamgirls,which co-stars Jamie Foxx, is the first of the singer-turned-actress' films which required a love scene, and Beyoncé wasn't prepared at all. "I guess you could say we had a love scene.We kissed," recalls Beyoncé. "Now, I'm a singer/songwriter, that's what I did first – I didn't start out going to acting classes and people-kissing classes. So that's all still new to me. Working with my acting coach made it easier. I just thought it was necessary for the character; we have to establish that they're married. Jamie was very professional, it was quick, and you know, it is what it is."

Ashlee Simpson is following Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears as the new face, and feet, of Sketchers. The 21-year-old will star in a new worldwide campaign for the company, which debuts later this year. "I grew up wearing Sketchers. Like me, they are not afraid of taking chances and having fun," Ashlee said via an official statement. "I'm happy to be a part of the brand and hope to add a few more pairs to my closet." Sketchers president, Michael Greenberg, added: "She's young, beautiful, talented, and already has two multi-platinum records and six million records sold under her young belt. Ashlee is also the perfect union between fashion and music, using her influence to empower young women to be themselves."

Lindsay Lohan has had another tattoo inked on her body. The party princess dropped into a tattoo parlour in West Hollywood last week, at 3am, and requested a tiny white heart between her thumb and index finger, reports Page Six. Lindsay's new boyfriend, Harry Morton, who was with her at the time, also joined in the fun, getting a cross tattoo "on an unspecified part of his anatomy". The little heart is Lindsay's fourth tattoo; she already has "La Bella Vita" written on her back, "Breathe" on her right wrist, and a star on her left one.

Pamela Anderson has revealed she's having not one, not two, not three, but four weddings. First up will be a ceremony on a yacht in St Tropez, the place where Pammy and Kid Rock reignited their romance last month - expected to take place this weekend - then, after that, a string of weddings in America. "We are going to have a couple of weddings," the actress told reporters. "We have to do Malibu. We have to do Detroit. And we are going to do Nashville. We are starting in the south of France." And the bride-to-be can't wait to get started on the festivities. "I am fine. I am not nervous. It is a good decision," she added.

Lindsay Lohan has enjoyed yet another trip to A&E, this time suffering from heat exhaustion. The 20-year-old starlet, who's no stranger to the inside of her local emergency room, was taken in a private car from the movie set of Georgia Rule to an LA hospital after collapsing during filming. "She was filming in 105-degree weather for 12 hours," reported her rep, Leslie Sloane-Zelnick, who said her client had "got overheated and dehydrated". After receiving a vitamin B-12 shot, Lindsay is now "totally fine". She certainly looked it when spies saw her partying that night with new boyfriend Harry Morton.

Colin Farrell has been forced to file a restraining order against a woman who claims to be his former lover, admitting he's worried about the safety of his family. Dessarae Bradford last year accused Farrell of stalking her and earlier this week tried to approach him while he was filming an appearance on The Tonight Show. He said afterwards: "It was freaky... It was just very jarring. I've no idea what happened." In court documents, Colin claims: "I am concerned that her harassing behaviour has escalated and may pose an immediate threat to my well-being and the well-being of my family."

Lional Richie says taunts about his daughter Nicole Richie's weight problem cause him more pain than her. Speaking to Access Hollywood, Lionel admitted: "I'll be honest with you, it hurts me more than it hurts her. I'm more sensitive. I take it more so personal... I must tell you, I'm the basket case." But the 57-year-old singer insists he's doing everything he can to help Nicole, who finally admitted to Vanity Fair in June she's "too thin". "What are fathers for if you can't point the finger every once in a while?" said Lionel. "The good part of it is she is aware of it... She has heard this all her life from me so this is just a continuation of the reminder."

Christina Aguilera might have toned down her image, but she insists she has no regrets about her dirrty, chap-wearing past. "The sexuality coming forward on this record is more softened," she told Newsweek magazine, ahead of the release of her new album, Back to Basics. "It's more pin-up, tongue-in-cheek. It's playful. People take sex far too seriously." And speaking about her last release, the in-your-face Stripped, Christina added: "If you liked it, you wanted to root for me: 'Look, she's empowered.' If not, well, you'd stick all those labels on me."
